John McVey, Technical and Office Support

John McVey provides both technical and office support for the mobile practice. John enjoys antiques and is an avid collector of tools. His other hobbies are camping,  hiking and traveling. 

Maria Phelps, Veterinary Technician

Maria Phelps is a Veterinary Technician who has worked for over 30 years in the veterinary field, bringing valuable experience and knowledge to patients . She travels on the mobile unit with Dr. Nock.

In addition to her work as a "Vet Tech", Maria does wildlife rescue of all types, including  birds and raptors. Maria attended design school and has a business of her own called Creative Critters, which designs and makes scrubs. 

Maria's interests include gardening, fishing, boating and scuba diving (she was a scuba instructor)! Maria's 2 Springer Spaniels are Jake and Angel!

Anne Marie Nock, DVM

Dr. Anne Marie Nock is the owner/managing member of Connecticut Mobile Veterinary Services, LLC. Dr. Nock grew up in Connecticut.  She attended the University of Connecticut earning her Bachelor's degree in Pathobiology and conducting research in Parasitology.  Dr. Nock then attended Auburn University for her degree in Veterinary medicine.

Dr. Nock began her professional career in Edinboro,  Pennsylvania where she was a mixed animal practitioner. The majority of her work was in dairy herd health, medicine and surgery.

Dr. Nock returned to Connecticut to work as a small animal practitioner for the past 19 years. In 2013, she opened Connecticut Mobile Veterinary Services, LLC taking her back to her early roots as a traveling large animal veterinarian. She enjoys working on a one to one basis with her clients in a setting that is comfortable for both them and their pets.  

In her spare time, she enjoys hunting for antiques, horseback riding and traveling. Her pets include the canine girls, Reagan and Ziggy, and the feline friends, Sophia, Brock, and Kenobi!
